Promote Africa is an international nonprofit run entirely by volunteers whose goal is to empower communities by providing seed capital for health, education and community development projects. In addition to the Bright Ideas Grant program which selects and funds these projects, Promote Africa also runs a social business in African art and helps distribute virtual textbooks through the Global Text Project.
