The friends and family of Duke University alumni, students and faculty are honored to show support to the relief efforts in Japan.

The funds collected through this site will be presented to the City of Yokohama through Duke University alum Masato Yamada. Masato is the Deputy Mayor of the City of Yokohama, Japan and is a 1998 graduate of Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Following the recent earthquake and tsunami in northern Japan, The City of Yokohama has immediately jumped into action in assisting their neighboring cities with supplies and rescue teams. Yokohama is Japan’s second largest city after Tokyo and is located 260 miles south of Sendai and is optimally situated to assist in the relief efforts.
